Everyone who has talked about the new shopping center on Route 24 that I have read says nothing about two schools being on same road. You want an experience, go to Love Creek Elementary at pickup or dropoff. I have watched cars sit in traffic lanes to cross into school. I see school buses going in the outbound side – yes, full of kids. Yet they want to put a shopping center and housing development there. When will Sussex County Council wise up? Our roads cannot handle it.

Criticism of public figures is permissible. Endorsement letters for political candidates are no longer accepted. Letters must be the author’s original work, and may not be generated by artificial intelligence tools. Templates, form letters and letters containing language similar to other submissions will not be published.
