Sailing the Baltic Sea and exploring 8 different countries with the Gazette!

September 22, 2018

Lewes residents Phyllis and Barry Cole recently returned from a Viking Ocean Cruise on the Baltic Sea. They enjoyed visiting Norway, Denmark, Poland, Germany, Estonia, Russia, Finland and Sweden.

Here they are posing with their Cape Gazette while making a stop at the King Frederick Statue at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen, Denmark.

According to Wikipedia, Frederik V on Horseback is a sculpture located in the center of Amalienborg Square, framed by the four symmetrical wings of the Amalienborg palace. The statue represents Frederick V of Denmark in classic attire, crowned with laurels and with his hand outstretched, holding a baton.
