Sea Gals, Angola by the Bay’s women’s group, presented its annual college scholarship to Travis Begley, a student who lives in the community and attended Caravel Academy.
Begley will begin studying computer engineering at the University of Delaware in September.
The Sea Gals group awards the competitive scholarship to a worthy student whose parent owns property in Angola by the Bay, is a U.S.citizen, and makes written application, including transcript, recommendations and essay.
Fundraising activities throughout the year support the scholarship.
