Shore Marketplace craft workshops continue June 19
Shore Marketplace is now offering workshops featuring a variety of hands-on DIY crafts at 17689 Coastal Highway, Lewes.
Workshops feature projects like ocean-themed resin charcuterie boards, paint-your-own furniture, resin and glass art, decorative wood signs, decoupage oyster shells and shell mosaics.
Marlene Lusk, proprietor, said, “The workshops give our customers the opportunity to meet our artisans and have fun creating beautiful pieces together.” Lusk said the workshops have been very popular since they started in April.
Upcoming workshop times and dates are: custom resin glass art 5 p.m., Wednesday, June 19; pottery fish wind chime 3 p.m., Thursday, June 20; advanced art resin class (sold out) 1 p.m., Saturday, June 22; kids’ pottery fish vase workshop 1 p.m., Thursday, June 27; and decoupage oyster shell workshop 11 a.m., Saturday, June 29.

Shore Marketplace was established in 2019 as part of the Furniture Gallery/Scrub Apparel complex located just north of Arby’s on Route 1 in Lewes. It features the work of more than 40 artists and artisans, with products including painted furniture, photography, original paintings, clay and ceramic work, and many other decorative items. The one-stop shop for locally crafted and coastal-themed gifts and home accessories is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
