Shrimp and chicken at American Legion in Lewes Aug. 31

Sons of the American Legion Squadron 17 will host a shrimp feast and chicken dinner fundraiser starting at 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 31, at American Legion Post 17 in Lewes.

Available dinners are one pound of steamed shrimp 16-20s for $12 or barbecued chicken leg quarters with two sides for $12. Takeout is available. There will be a 50/50 raffle, and Joy Lynn Schreck will provide live entertainment.

Proceeds will benefit the various charities that SAL Squadron 17 supports throughout the year, primarily Fisher House, Home of the Brave and Children’s Organ Transplant Organization.
