SkeeterStrong Foundation, Paradise Companies donate to Ennis family

April 17, 2024

The SkeeterStrong Foundation and Paradise Companies teamed up to donate more than $7,000 to the Ennis family as part of a benefit for 3-month-old Shane Ennis.

Shane is the son of Ryan and Brittany Ennis; Ryan is a cancer survivor who worked at Paradise Grill. Shortly after Shane was born in January, he suffered a massive stroke with severe damage to the left side of his brain.

To help with the costs of care, Paradise Companies held a benefit for Shane, raising more than $6,000 for the Ennis family. The SkeeterStrong Foundation, started by Paradise Events Director Barbara Ann Racine-Kereszi for her late husband David “Skeeter” Kereszi, contributed an additional $1,000. The family has also set up a GoFundMe page that has already exceeded its $50,000 goal.
