Slower Lower Lax goes undefeated

Slower Lower Lax, a middle school team representing Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore, made a powerful statement this season, bringing together players from multiple schools to form a dominant, collaborative squad.

Competing in a middle school division, the team went undefeated and captured the championship of the Middle School Winter League at the Chase Center in Wilmington. The squad outscored opponents 90-25 over the course of the season.

Anchored by coaches Matt Jones (Polytech High School and Coastal Lacrosse Academy) and Chris Costello (Atlantic Lacrosse and Coastal Lacrosse Academy), the team’s success reflected strong leadership, disciplined play and the continued growth of lacrosse across the region.
