Snyder-Hall will be excellent addition to caucus

October 18, 2024

I have known Claire Snyder-Hall for over a decade, and we share a strong commitment to education. Education is such an important issue to make sure that all Delawareans have a path to success and a strong foundation in the years ahead. I know with her experience as a classroom teacher for 20 years, she will hit the ground running on policy that will have an impact with students, educators and parents. Her voice on subjects ranging from education funding and educator recruitment to many others will be extremely valuable throughout this next session.

In my time as a legislator, I have worked with many stakeholders and advocates throughout the state. Claire has been a superb advocate as she headed a nonpartisan statewide organization for five years that focused on strengthening democracy. Her support for open government, transparency and strengthening democracy overall has had an impact on many bills. Like her, I support the need for an inspector general that will uphold the standards of trust in our government throughout the state.

I support Claire not just for her policy beliefs, but I also know she is a reasonable and level-headed person who respects people with different views. She has and will continue to collaborate with others to make positive change. I have seen this firsthand and I know she will be an excellent addition to the House Democratic Caucus. I believe the people in RD 14 would benefit from having her as their representative, and I hope you will support her in this upcoming election.
