Some Aspen Meadows residents awoke early Dec. 5 to find their streets flooded after a heavy downpour of several hours dumped at least 3 inches of rain on the area. Some drainage ditches to carry away stormwater runoff were full and overflowing in the manufactured home community located off Munchy Branch Road near Rehoboth Beach.
Most of the flooding is concentrated in the area nearest Munchy Branch Road.
A drainage ditch overflows onto the street as rain comes to an end on Dec. 5.
