Southeastern Delaware Artists Studio Tour set Nov. 29-30
A flurry of activity is taking place ahead of the 25th Annual Southeastern Delaware Artists Studio Tour, set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Nov. 29 and 30.
Attendees have the unique opportunity to talk to artists and watch them create. The free self-guided tour gives guests flexibility on what to attend when. As they have since 2000, artists also will be selling tickets to the Art in the Hat raffle.
Each year, the artists donate a piece of their artwork for the raffle, and at the end of the tour, drawings are done for each work. This year, there will be 13 lucky winners. A full 100 percent of the proceeds go directly to support art programs in local schools. Since the raffle’s inception, $63,000 has raised.
