One never knows what the magic of Christmas may bring. Santa’s Letters is a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to change the world one letter at a time. It brings Christmas cheer to Sussex County all year round. However, this is the kickoff to its busy holiday season.

Santa’s Letters was founded in 2013 by Sean and Kristina Malone, who wanted to find a unique and upbeat way to give back to their community. Sean worked for the U.S. Postal Service and started answering letters to Santa. During this process, he realized that many children were asking for basic needs such as clothing and food. That is when the idea took form, and now the organization is supporting hundreds of families every year.

“We believe the magic of Christmas still exists in all of us, so why not spread joy and goodwill year-round,” said Kristina. For information on volunteering, email Lisa@LisaCondon.com, who will assist in assigning roles to volunteers. To learn more or to donate, go to santaslettersinc.com.
