St. Jude The Apostle Parish will host a Ladies Lenten Day of Reflection from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, March 27, in its parish hall, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes.
The guest speaker will be Marie Joseph, executive director of the Legacy of Life Foundation, a pro-life nonprofit supporting crisis pregnancy centers in Philadelphia. Joseph and her staff work with women who are considering abortion when faced with an unplanned pregnancy. Their unique approach to counseling has proven results in saving over 2,500 families from aborting their children.
Participants can attend confession and Mass, and take time for group and personal reflection and adoration. A light continental breakfast and boxed lunch will be included. Attendees must register in advance due to limited space, and a suggested donation of $25 is requested to defray event costs.
Registration forms are available at www.stjudelewes.org/reflection; they can also be requested by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 302-644-7413, or visiting the parish office during normal business hours.
