Sung Ae ‘Lynn’ Montgomery, loved walking the trails

Sung Ae "Lynn" Montgomery, 71, of Millsboro passed away after a five-year battle with lung cancer Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020. She was born Jan. 21, 1949, in Seoul, South Korea, daughter of the late Chun and Han Suk Lee.

Lynn married the love of her life, Loftin Paul Montgomery Jr., June 26, 1970, in Seoul. Together they raised their two daughters and built a life they cherished. Lynn worked as an administrator of vehicle fleet management services for PHH Corporation (later Cendant Corporation) in Hunt Valley, Md., for many years.

In her spare time, Lynn's favorite pasttime was walking the trails and bicycle loop at Cape Henlopen State Park with her husband. Most of all, she loved spending time with her two grandchildren. 

Lynn is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Loftin Paul Montgomery Jr. of Millsboro; two daughters: Jennifer Montgomery of Catonsville, Md., and Kelly Frohwein of Butte, Mont.; her sister, Sung Ok Nichols of Kileen, Texas; two brothers: Seung Nam Lee and Seung Yong Lee of Los Angeles, Calif.; two grandchildren: Brianna and Nicholas Leith of Catonsville; and many friends and neighbors who will miss her dearly.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services will be private. A recording of the services will be available for viewing Tuesday, Dec. 22, on Lynn's Memorial Webpage located at www.parsellfunerahomes.com. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lynn's name to the Tunnell Cancer Center and sent to Beebe Medical Foundation, ATTN: Tunnell Cancer Center, 902 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
