Support Millsboro’s small business community

May 5, 2023

In the summer months, Millsboro tends to get overshadowed by beach towns like Rehoboth, Lewes and Bethany. Those beautiful tourist attractions have the advantage of beaches and boardwalks and oceanside downtowns. Small businesses seem to thrive there. But Millsboro has small businesses too! And this summer the local vendors and independent crafters are coming together to give our lovely town a collective voice. Indian River Senior Center is hosting its annual Strawberry Festival Saturday, June 3, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and this year, it is acting as a social conduit to create a strong sense of community spirit and support of local businesses and nonprofits. This is exactly what Millsboro needs. There will be an indoor craft show and a fresh-air, outdoor vendors market. Not to mention festivities, and lots and lots of strawberries. Details can be found on the Indian River Senior Center’s website. Come show your support of our town and rise up, Millsboro!
