In the storm of events at Home of the Brave as reported in the Dec. 22 issue, there is one thing of which I am certain, and that is the high moral and ethical character of Tina Washington. I have served with Tina on multiple committees and councils. She is a hard worker and a strong leader. She has the courage and the fortitude to do the right thing in a difficult situation. We need more citizens and leaders like Tina Washington.

Letters restating information and opinions already offered by the same author will not be used. Letters must focus on issues of general, local concern, not personalities or specific businesses.
