Susan Marie Cain, 61, of Millsboro passed away surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at her home.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., Oct. 14, 1956, daughter of the late Frank Thomas McClain and the late Dolores Maire (Stonback) McClain. She worked as a CNA at Harbor Healthcare in Lewes and was also a bus driver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Regina Wood; and three brothers, Francis Thomas McClain, Joseph Edward McClain and Edward Joseph McClain. She is survived by her loving husband, 1stSgt. William S. Cain Jr., USMC, Ret.; five children, James (Jodi) Morrill, Brian (Mindy) Morrill, Heather (Troy) Truitt, John (Melissa) Morrill and Christina (Justin) Bickling; a stepson, Billy Cain; four siblings, George (Niki) McClain, Jimmy (Maryann) McClain, John McClain and Michael McClain; and 16 grandchildren, Chase, Katelyn, Allie, Kylie, Tori, Jaidyn, Christopher, Avery, Payton, Colton, Braelyn, Parker, Carson, Connor, Caleb and Ava.
A committal service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 8, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.
