U.S. Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester gives the keynote address at the ceremony. Blunt Rochester spoke about her life prior to becoming a congresswoman. As she concluded her powerful address, Blunt Rochester said, ”We are only here for one thing, love. To love each other, to love our spirit, to love ourselves. Love, that’s why we are here.”

Sussex Academy held its second annual commencement ceremony June 1. The 58 students of the class of 2018 were honored to have Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester give the keynote address.
