Sussex County Association of Realtors staff hosts open house

August 28, 2019

Sussex County Association of Realtors recently held an open house for Realtor and affiliate members to meet new staff and get reacquainted with existing staff.

Patricia Anderson was recently named the new chief executive officer, leaving her position as director of professional development. Additional existing staff members include Mary Hanley, membership and affiliates coordinator; Kristy Brittingham, administrative and Sentrilock coordinator; and Donna-Lynne Clendening, administrative assistant. Joining these valued staff members are Stephanie Moody, marketing and communications coordinator, and Stephanie Talbott, director of professional development.

Moody assumed the role of marketing and communications coordinator at the beginning of July and brings with her several years of marketing and communications experience. A lifelong Sussex County resident who grew up in Lewes, Moody previously worked as director of sales and social media for a group of locally owned hotels. She has also taught for Delaware Technical Community College as an adjunct for the past nine years. She currently resides just outside Lewes with her husband and three children.

“I am excited to join the team at Sussex County Association of Realtors. You can sense the enthusiasm that Patricia has for her new role at SCAOR. The momentum she has built is contagious among her staff, and I look forward to being a part of the enthusiasm. It was truly an honor to be greeted by so many members at the open house,” said Moody.

Talbott assumed the role of director of professional development July 15. Before joining SCAOR, she spent four years as branch vice president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Bethany Beach office and, prior to that, was a successful Realtor. She earned ABR, SRES, MRP, CNE and CDPE designations, and was awarded lifetime membership in the Million Dollar Real Estate Club. Before her career in real estate, Talbott served in several senior roles in the corporate world where she used her skills in sales management, team building, business development and strategic planning.

Talbott said, “I am excited to join this dynamic team at SCAOR and look forward to using my experience and knowledge of the real estate industry to further enhance the careers of our members.”

Anderson said she feels great about the direction SCAOR is headed.  “It is a true pleasure to work with such dynamic women! The multitude of experiences and professional backgrounds represented by all of the employees here at SCAOR lend themselves to an enormous amount of cohesion and collaboration, which is an immeasurable member benefit in and of itself. I am excited for the future of our association and for our members,” said Talbott.

Any members who missed the open house July 31 are invited to stop in any time to meet new staff members and say hello to existing staff.

The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday.
