Sussex Tech to host job fair April 9

Delawareans in search of a new job and career are invited to meet nearly 40 employers looking to hire their newest employees at Sussex Tech’s second annual Career Fair from 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 9.

Employers in attendance will include Assurance Media; Atlantic Aluminum Products Inc.; Best Aquatic; Chesapeake Plumbing & Heating Inc.; Continental Pools; Corrado Construction; Delaware Department of Human Resources; Delaware Department of Labor; Delaware Department of Transportation; Delaware State Parks; Denney Electric Supply; Dogfish Head; Dry Zone; Expert Wire Inc.; Grand Rental Station; Great Clips; Grotto Pizza; Harrison Senior Living of Georgetown; Heritage Shores; Lywood Electric Inc.; Master Interiors; Melvin Joseph Construction Co.; Michael Kors; Mid-Atlantic Electrical Services Inc.; Nickle Electrical Companies; Playa Bowls Rehoboth; RSC Landscaping Ltd.; SchagrinGas; Short's Marine Inc.; Sobieski Inc.; SoDel Concepts; Spring Point Senior Living Center; Sullivan Landscaping; Sussex County Government; Sussex County Habitat for Humanity; UniSite Design Inc.; and Wawa Inc.

The free event will connect employers with both student and adult workers for summer jobs, and part-time and full-time careers. Attending will be members of the public, participants in Sussex Tech’s Adult Education programs, and students from Sussex Technical High School’s 18 career-technical areas. The fair will be open to the general public from 4 to 6 p.m., and for Sussex Tech students from 2 to 3 p.m.
