Thanks to all at Mariner Middle School

January 31, 2013

I am writing this letter to express sincere heartfelt thanks to everyone I have come in contact with at Mariner Middle School since I broke my leg skiing during Christmas vacation. The kind words, the extra hand, the sincere smiles and the incredible encouragement I have gotten from my colleagues, support staff and administrators is appreciated more than words can express.

As I have recovered a special thanks goes out to all who have helped me in and out the doors, picked me up for school, took me home from school, provided crutch supports for extra comfort, brought me tea, carried my copies to and from the classrooms and hallways, checked on me daily, bought me gift cards and last but not least, the mere sincerity of true friendship, which can be lost so often in the bustle of our own lives and families not to mention our 500 amazing students returning from vacation.

I feel privileged to be a part of this wonderful family of great people at Mariner Middle School. You all are the best! Thank you very much for being my personal crutch during my ongoing recovery.
