A big shout-out to the Rehoboth Beach cadets! Between late afternoon July 10 and early morning July 11, my husband’s blue Trailmate Desoto Classic adult trike was stolen. We live near the park and the cemetery on Henlopen Avenue, and the person came down my driveway and took it! My husband is 93 years old and has Parkinson’s disease. He uses bicycling as part of his physical therapy! During the afternoon of July 11, we informed the Rehoboth Beach Police Department. Within 24 hours, the bike was found and returned to my driveway by Cadet Ulrey.
We would like Cadets Burton, Ulrey, Chan and Seiler to be recognized for their extraordinary service!
Thanks to them, my husband has resumed his bicycling routine.
