Theatre of Terror to screen ‘13 Ghosts’ Nov. 7-8

October 31, 2025

Mr. Moribund's Theatre of Terror will present its 10th anniversary shows at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7 and 8, at the Riverfront Theater in Milford, featuring the 1960 horror movie “13 Ghosts,” directed by William Castle, and starring Charles Herbert, Jo Morrow and Margaret Hamilton. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets will only be sold at the door.

“Spooky season has been extended this year!” said W.J. Walton, show creator and performer. “We've had to schedule our show a little later in the year this time to pack so much more into it than we've done before. It's hard to believe we've been doing this show for a decade. What started out as a small side project has become something much bigger than we had ever imagined, and we've attracted quite a following.”

The shows will feature a screening of the film, along with live performances by the Theatre of Terror cast, live music and comedy, costume contests for adults and children, raffles, vendors in the lobby and audience participation. Attendees will have the opportunity to win one of a series of Moribund cereal boxes filled with prizes, along with other treats offered by local businesses, in the raffle that benefits True Colors, a charity aiding LGBTQ+ teens and youth who are homeless.

Since 2015, Mr. Moribund's Theatre of Terror has presented a series of live shows at the Riverfront Theater. The shows are modeled after the classic horror host television programs of the 1950s through today. They feature a classic film from the golden age of monster movies along with comedy sketches, live music and talent performances, costume contests, audience participation and more.
