Free to attend, but registration is required
October 10, 2018

Think Beyond Pink, a women’s breast health and wellness conference hosted by Beebe Healthcare’s Women’s & Children’s Services and Tunnell Cancer Center, will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, at South Coastal Library.

“Think Beyond Pink is a day aimed at bringing women in our community together to focus on their health and wellness,” said Judith Ramirez, EdD, manager of oncology population health at Tunnell Cancer Center. “Women in particular often face the difficulty of making time for self-care due to pressures and demands of work, family, and community. At this event, you will be empowered to make lasting changes for a happier and healthier life, and connect in conversation with Beebe physicians and other health resource partners.”

It is free to attend, but registration is required. To RSVP, go to www.ThinkBeyondPink2018.eventbrite.com.

Event speakers will discuss health issues women may encounter with aging and menopause, cardiac health, and developing a wellness practice and yoga program.

Attendees will connect with women in the community and learn ways to take charge of their health, enjoy yoga and wellness activities, and gather free health information, community resources and giveaways.
