Third annual artwalk to grace Milton porches Oct. 16

October 7, 2021

A group of 17 Milton Arts Guild artists will occupy 16 porches throughout downtown Milton for its third annual artwalk, to be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 16.

The free event allows art lovers from Milton and beyond to enjoy an autumn stroll through the historic downtown area and visit with local artists while they work on their creations.

“We always have a wonderful time at artwalk,” said Sue Dutton, president of the guild’s board of directors. “Last year in the middle of COVID, more than 200 people picked up maps, took a walk on a beautiful October day, and enjoyed the company of artists and fellow art lovers.”

To help guide visitors to the artists, maps will be available at 107 Federal St. and 315 Mill St. The maps also include a 10 percent discount to local eateries redeemable the day of the artwalk.

Other highlights of the event include live music by Al Frantic and a special children’s chalk art activity.
