Thomas Brian Miller, Mountaire Farms employee

Thomas Brian Miller, 56, of Millsboro, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Allentown, Pa., Jan. 18, 1960, the son of the late Paul Delbert Miller and Dorothea Mae Keifer Miller Rivell of Seaford.

Tom was a quality assurance manger for Mountaire Farms in Millsboro, where he had worked for the company for over 26 years. He was a member of Bayshore Community Church in Millsboro, where he was a devoted worship leader, a leader in disciple ministry, and a member of the SMA Men's Ministry. He was a member of the Delmarva Poultry Industry, loved fast cars, and enjoyed watersports. Most of all Tom loved his family and friends dearly.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Ernest Piquette Miller of Millsboro; his children, Jesse Daniel Piquette and his fiancé Pamela Grammes of Milton, Mindy Miller Bounds and her husband Shaun of Salisbury, Md., and Amy Michelle Miller of Millsboro; his sisters, Donnalee Booth and her husband Ben of Seaford, Debbie Figgs and her husband Kenny of Harrington, Darlene Smith and her husband Casey of Jackson Center, Pa.; and his sister-in-law, Teresa Miller-Perkins of Salisbury. He is also survived by his grandson Brayden Bounds of Salisbury, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Tom is preceded in death by his sons Brian Daniel Miller and Eric Colby Miller. His brothers, Paul Miller and Duane Miller, also precede him in death.

A viewing will be held Thursday, Sept. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Bayshore Community Church. A funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 16, at noon, at the Bayshore Community Church, 36759 Millsboro Hwy. Millsboro. A viewing will also be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the church. Pastor Danny Tice will officiate. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro.

In lieu of flowers, Tom would love to know that he impacted his grandchildren's future and eternity by encouraging education and a relationship with Jesus. We are giving you the opportunity to give to the TBM Grandchildren Education Fund at PNC bank and/or to Bayshore Community Church. Checks to the education fund can be made out to the fund and sent to Nancy Miller, 24281 Blue Crab Ave., Millsboro, DE 19968, or mailed to any PNC branch.
