After a brief closure for a 100-foot-move to the west, Tideline Gallery has reopened on Rehoboth Avenue in Rehoboth Beach.

Bill and Barb Hammond have owned and operated Tideline Gallery for 38 years, and they are happy to be settling into the longtime former home of the Sea Shell Shop.

Bill said they’re now open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., pretty much every day.

Barb said they opened a little over a week ago and they’re still filling up the shelves, but they’re ready for customers.

The Hammonds took over the space earlier this year when, after 43 years downtown, Sea Shell Shop owner Patty Derrick decided to consolidate her two-store operation to its larger location on Route 1 north of Rehoboth.
