Tobby Harold Ayers, masonry contractor

Mr. Tobby Harold Ayers, 47, of Dover, passed away  Saturday, July 2, 2016.

 Tobby was born in Wilmington to the late Elmer B. Ayers Sr. and Sarianne Mallick Ayers.

 He worked as a masonry contractor prior to his retirement. He was a quiet, gentle man, and was passionate about baseball.

 He is survived by his son, Kyle Ayers of Newark; two brothers, Peter R. Ayers and his wife Yulia of Milford, and Elmer B. Ayers II of Dover; a sister, Alygia E. Lopez and her fiancé Jeremy Blank of Milton; stepfather, Charles E. Conover of Sudlersville, Md.; stepbrother, Charles E. Conover of Smyrna; and a stepsister, Sherri Lynn Rose of Baltimore, Md.; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

 A memorial service will be held at noon Friday, July 8, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St. Millsboro. Friends may call one hour prior for visitation with the family. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Epilepsy Foundation of Delaware, 240 North James St., Newport, DE, 19804.
