The Sussex County Toys for Tots campaign organization has launched a volunteer solicitation campaign for its 2020 Christmas drive.
This year’s campaign is expected to be one of the busiest ever, and many volunteers will be needed to collect, organize and distribute toys for the children of southern Sussex County.
In 2019, the local campaign distributed nearly 16,000 toys to 3,000 children all over Sussex County, including Bethel, Blades, Bridgeville, Broadkill Beach, Dewey Beach, Ellendale, Georgetown, Greenwood, Harbeson, Henlopen Acres, Laurel, Lewes, Lincoln, Long Neck, Milford, Millsboro, Milton, Nassau, Oak Orchard, Prime Hook Beach, Rehoboth Beach, Seaford and points in between.
The Toys for Tots local campaign is administered by the Diamond State Detachment No. 704 of the Marine Corps League, Millsboro, with assistance from the Devil Dog Detachment No. 780, Seaford, and volunteers throughout the coverage area.
