Treasures in Lewes to offer Navajo jewelry pieces July 20
Treasures recently announced a special event from noon to 4 p.m., Friday, July 20. Treasures will have authentic handmade classic and contemporary pieces of Native American jewelry and will be serving light refreshments.
Treasures offers a wide array of sterling silver and semiprecious stone jewelry from coastal themes to Navajo Indian pieces with many items being made in the United States. On July 20, the store will be featuring a large selection of handmade sterling silver jewelry with turquoise, coral, lapis and blue topaz by the Navajo Indians.
Sleeping Beauty from Globe, Ariz., Royston Turquoise from Tonapah, Nev., Pilot Mountain mine in Mina, Nev., and Kingsman Turquoise from Kingsman, Ariz. will be featured.
“We have had such an interest in the Native American jewelry, I wanted to be able to offer a wide variety to our customers at one time,” says owner Michiko Seto.
