HOB Elementary Principal Ned Gladfelter said this was the first time both Milton elementary schools joined together for an assembly.
Latin-fusion band Trio Caliente entertained Milton and H.O. Brittingham elementary students during a special concert hosted by Coastal Concerts at HOB Oct. 4.
Children clapped, cheered and volunteered to go on stage and play along with the musicians, trying different instruments and singing in English and Spanish.
