Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance benefit seeks donors, sponsors

Pours 4 Parker B, a wine-tasting fundraiser and raffle benefiting the Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Alliance, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday, May 21, at Bin 66, 20729 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach.

“Our son Parker was diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis complex in utero, and ever since his diagnosis we've been doing everything we can to raise awareness and fundraise to help find a cure for this rare disease,” said Ryan Beebe, Parker’s dad. “This disease leads to tumor growths throughout Parker’s major bodily organs (heart, brain, eyes, liver, skin, etc.), which has meant amongst many other things, heart surgery at 5 days old, and a long battle to try and get seizures under control.”

While this will be the inaugural Pours 4 Parker B event, organizers have held virtual fundraisers over the past two years that have brought in $143,000 for the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance.

“During the fundraiser, we’ll be raffling off numerous great prizes from many of your favorite places on the Eastern Shore,” said Beebe. All money raised will go directly to the TSC Alliance.
