Two vehicles crash head-on on Long Neck Road

Long Neck Road was closed Dec. 10 following a two-car crash.
Fire officials with Indian River Volunteer Fire Company said the crash happened about 6 p.m. when a Honda Pilot and a Toyota 4-Runner traveling on Long Neck Road near Ridgewood Road collided head-on.
Officials said the vehicles were near a sharp curve in the road when they collided. Emergency units from Indian River included Rescue 80 and Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, and Squad 80 and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility. Delaware State Police are investigating.
