Tyndall thanks Cape community and supporters

July 18, 2023

I just wanted to take a moment to thank this community for voting me onto the Cape Henlopen school board for another term. It has been an honor to represent this community since 2016, and I will continue to work hard for the students of Cape. At the July 13 board meeting, I officially started my third term for another four years.

Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly on my behalf. I am so grateful to those who walked door to door with flyers and business cards, struck up conversations with locals to spread my name, took out ads on my behalf, held signs/put signs in their yards and especially those who showed up to vote.

School board members in Delaware are unpaid, yet we work tirelessly on behalf of the children in our communities. Our Cape board comprises seven members who value education, the best interests of children and are dedicated to this district. Please inform yourself and make sure to vote in future school board elections.

Thank you once again!

Jessica Tyndall
Cape Henlopen school board member
