UD Alumni Day event set for July 17 in Dewey Beach

The University of Delaware Kent/Sussex Alumni Club and New Castle County Alumni Club will welcome Blue Hens, their families and friends from across the region to Dewey Beach for Alumni Day Saturday, July 17.

Events for the day kick off at noon at northbeach, at 125 McKinley Ave., for a semi-private party until 4 p.m. with drink specials and appetizers.

After enjoying northbeach, Blue Hens can take a trolley ride to the Bottle & Cork at 1807 Coastal Highway where they’ll enjoy back-door admission to the world-famous Jam Session.

All University of Delaware alumni and friends are welcome to attend and mingle. A fee of $10 per person includes commemorative wristbands; commemorative T-shirts to attendees who register in advance, while supplies last; 15 percent off dinner at the Rusty Rudder; and entry into northbeach, the Bottle & Cork and the Rusty Rudder with no line, no cover and a complimentary drink ticket at each venue.
