The children at Union Street Meeting House in Milton performed the Christmas story during the Dec. 22 service.
Members of the congregation cheered them on as they reenacted the story of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Together with Slaughter Neck Community Church members, Union Street Meeting House participants gathered later that evening for fellowship with communion, a sermon, Christmas caroling and sweet refreshments.
