A view of early 20th century Oak Orchard

January 28, 2020

This postcard view of Oak Orchard, on Indian River, was mailed sometime in the early 20th century. The postmark is smeared so the year-date is unknown, but the two-cent, red George Washington stamp dates it sometime between 1908 when the first two-cent George Washington stamp was issued and 1932 when the postage increased from two cents to three cents.
