Cape Gazette readers Nancy and Fred Phillips of Lewes recently visited the beautiful coastal town of Boothbay, Maine. They spent a day visiting the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, a People’s Garden established in 2007. In 2008, a Children’s Garden was established; offering 2 acres of fun and educational opportunities centered around popular children’s stories. Local schools and organizations visit the garden each year to learn about nature and the world around us.
