Westminster Presbyterian invites community members to worship

September 15, 2018

Westminster Presbyterian Church and its congregation invite Rehoboth Beach, Lewes and Sussex County community members to worship and celebrate with them. This diverse, traditional, seaside church holds services at 10 a.m. every Sunday, with additional 8:30 a.m. services during the summer. After the 10 a.m. service, fellowship and refreshments are provided.

Adult Bible study is offered on Wednesdays when participants may share and discuss God’s word. Interim Pastor Doug Griffin and guest preachers offer praise sermons. The choir offers choral pieces, stirring solos, praiseworthy instrumentals and congregational hymns. To view sermons and news, go to www.westminster-rehoboth.org. After Labor Day, the nursery for young children resumes.

The active congregaton participates in Cape Henlopen Food Basket, Lewes-Rehoboth Association of Churches’ New Life Thrift Store, Home of the Brave, Boardwalk Buddy Walk, international student dinners, adult Bible study Wednesdays, Sunday school, homeless assistance, personalized prayer requests, in-home and hospital visitations, local and overseas relief efforts, mission work nearby and abroad, special community musical programs and more.

WPC is an open and affirming congregation which strongly adheres to the meaning of the name Rehoboth: “room for all.”
