Along with many many others, I am still trying to wrap my head around the extravagant salary and benefits of the new Rehoboth city manager. But wait – now Lewes is going to approve an almost $400,000 playground. What? The article says mothers had told someone the playground was not exactly safe. There were nails and [loose] handrails. I suppose doing some simple repairs would be out of the question.
Seriously? Kids need a $400,00 playground? I don't think it's the children that requested this change. What about reasonable spending? Too many wealthy people think the sky is the limit when it comes to improvements and approve these lavish projects.
My only other question is, where is the money tree located? I would like to go pick my share from it before it is cut down by the next developer.
