Whoop it up: Opening day of baseball celebration

April 21, 2017

A great time was had by all who participated in the Cancer Support Community of Delaware's Opening Day of Baseball Celebration April 3 at Buffalo Wild Wings in Rehoboth!

We want to extend our sincere appreciation to our sponsors: Buffalo Wild Wings/High Five Hospitality, Grotto Pizza and Boulevard Ford.

We are also grateful for our supporters: Sen. Gerald Hocker, SoDel Concepts, Vision Quest, One Spirit Massage and Revelations Hair Studio, as well as our Men's Yoga Group here at the Cancer Support Community and all our wonderful volunteers. We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity.

Our mission at The Cancer Support Community Delaware is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.

We are the only organization in Delaware dedicated exclusively to helping people cope with and manage the emotional aspect of cancer.
We also focus on the cancer participants' family and/or caregivers, including children and teenagers.

Our professionally led programs provide emotional support, education and hope... all of our programs are offered at no charge to our participants.

This event raised over $4,000 for the Cancer Support Community of Delaware/Sussex County.
