Why another church? Seek and you will find

May 12, 2023

In this area, we have many options to choose from in restaurants, entertainment and recreation. Churches are no different. We have every flavor and denomination on the theological spectrum represented. So, why another church? Well, people’s needs are vastly different today, post-COVID. Isolation is still affecting many people. They feel disconnected and even fear joining in anything. Fellowship and intimate, lasting connections are absent. Superficial relationships are rampant, and people find it hard to connect with others in a meaningful way. Too many people have the garage door syndrome and barely know their neighbors, much less interact with them in any relevant way. One place to overcome these barriers is in a loving and compassionate church that seeks to love God and neighbor equally. Our area has so many people in transition for one reason or another. Stability is hard to find. New realities cause a disruption in our equilibrium. We constantly feel off balance and unanchored. A solid church, grounded in Jesus Christ, can fill the void in people’s lives as a result of all of these issues. No longer locked out and isolated, life takes on new meaning and purpose for each new phase of life. That is why we believe that another church is needed in this area. People still need what the Church – big C – and the local congregation have to offer. Seek and you will find.
