Wings of Hope butterfly release seeks volunteers June 19

Cancer Support Community Delaware announced the return of its most popular and heartfelt event, Wings of Hope, set for 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, June 19, at Stango Park in Lewes. It is one of the premier events for CSCDE’s 25th Anniversary.

This unique and memorable event is a perfect opportunity to showcase  support for CSCDE at its largest fundraiser of the year. It is highlighted by the release of beautiful monarch butterflies in recognition of family, friends, and neighbors throughout Sussex County and Delaware whose lives have been impacted by cancer.

Volunteers can help by being curtain deliverers, performing light-duty tasks on the event day, and helping with post-event cleanup.

Faith-based organizations, homeowners associations, service organizations and local businesses can sell seeded butterflies.
