Women’s Club of Indian River supports local boys & girls club

The GFWC Women’s Club of Indian River recently donated hundreds of water bottles, dozens of bottles of sunscreen, ice pops and beach towels to the Oak Orchard/Riverdale Boys & Girls Club.
The items will benefit all the kids who participate in summer activities such as swimming, field trips and outside play at the facility. Some of the children are participating in projects where the water bottles will come in handy.
The WCIR is a nonprofit organization committed to charitable, educational and civic purposes, dedicated to serving communities in and around the Indian River. The club meets at 10 a.m., the second Monday of each month September through June, at the Indian River Yacht Club in Millsboro. To learn more, email gfwc.wcir@gmail.com.
