Women's Club of Indian River hears from guest speakers

The General Federation of Women's Clubs - Delaware State Federation of Women's Clubs affiliate Women's Club of Indian River heard from two guest speakers at its meeting July 8.
Stacy Penaranda, Sussex County coordinator for Read Aloud Delaware, spoke to members about her organization and ways they can volunteer.
Nikos Demetriou, grandson of WCIR President Henrietta Belcher Stack, spoke about his experience at the Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Seminar held at Wesley College in June. He will be going to Chicago for the International HOBY seminar as an area alternate.
The club meets at 10 a.m. the second Tuesday of each month, September through June, at the Indian River Yacht Club in Millsboro. For more information, call 302-947-2640.
