Yvonne ‘Eve’ C. Stieh, cherished time with family

Yvonne "Eve" C. Stieh, 67, of Ellendale passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020, at Bayhealth Center in Dover. She was born  Oct. 31, 1952, in Boston, Mass., daughter of the late Robert Duerr and Mary Duerr.

Yvonne was a dedicated employee of Baker's Petroleum in Lewes for 10 years, until her retirement in 2016.  She enjoyed horses and horseback riding, and was an avid lover of dogs.  More than anything, however, Yvonne cherished time spent with those she held most dear.  She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her grandparents: Lawrence and Catherine Hartnett.  She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Smyth of Ellendale; and her grandsons:  Zachary Smyth and Matthew Smyth, both of Ellendale.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all services will be private.  Arrangements are being handled by Watson-Yates Funeral Home & Crematorium, a member of the Parsell Funeral Family, Seaford.
