The Milton Zombie Fest will kick off at 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, at its new location at Hudson Fields, 30045 Eagle Crest Road, Milton.
Organized by Milton Theatre, this year’s festival promises expanded programming and enhanced facilities to create the ultimate apocalyptic experience, concluding with a dazzling fireworks show. To sustain the event’s growth and cover rising costs, a $5 entry fee for adults has been implemented this year. Admission for children ages 12 and under remains free.
A family-friendly area with bounce houses, obstacle courses, games, glow-in-the-dark tattoos and crafts will be co-sponsored by the Sussex Family YMCA. A diverse vendor village will feature local artisans and makers, along with a food truck lineup offering spooky-themed bites. Fire acts, stilt walkers, circus entertainers and sideshow thrillers will haunt the festival grounds throughout the evening
Attendees will enjoy costume contests and live musical entertainment from Lower Case Blues, Mama’s Black Sheep and Universal Funk Order. Artists from the Delaware Institute of Cosmetology will provide professional zombie makeovers for guests. To learn more, go to miltontheatre.com.
