Zwaanendael Club donates beach chair to City of Lewes

Members of the GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club recently presented a beach wheelchair to the City of Lewes for use by beachgoers whose access may be limited by mobility issues.
The city provides the use of beach wheelchairs free of charge to visitors at Savannah and Johnnie Walker beaches on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the summer.
Sponsored by the club’s health and wellness committee, the gift will enable more visitors to enjoy Lewes’ beautiful beaches.
The GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation whose members are public-spirited women serving and improving the community.
