Dewey Dock at Sunset

After a week of grey skies and then being battered with a Nor'easter for 3 days, Monday evening skies promised and delivered a colorful sunset, everyone seemed to capture the sky. I chose Dewey Beach on the Rehoboth Bay and waded through deep water to get to the shore and found more than 5 scenes to capture. This one I focused on the entire sky and reflection in the water about 30 minutes after sunset.

  • Photography grounds me and elates me. I am inspired by nature and its perfection. I see things that compel me to take a photograph, things that are ordinary, or small and go unseen by others. This is my purpose as a visual story teller. See my work in the Beach Paper and the Cape Gazette, or visit my website denyhoweth.com.
