January thaw lifting my spirits

January 11, 2018

11 January 2018 - Great walk this morning.  Beautiful pink and orange sunrise accompanied by the subtle sound of snow melting.  Canada geese falling into a field along Freeman Highway.

Used the hour-long trek to get my thoughts together for the talk I’m scheduled to give at Del Tech’s Social Media Conference in February.  What an honor.  I have no idea what I will talk about but it still feels like an honor.

Actually, the walk helped a whole lot of thoughts I’ve been having coalesce.  The combination of rising temperatures, melting snow, good clean air filling my lungs and an early morning meditation did the trick. Maybe the melting snow released a whole lot of ozone.  All I can tell you is that by the time I had summited the Freeman Highway Bridge heading for the beach, I was high and optimistic and brimming with ideas.

So, as far as the conference talk goes, it’s going to be an extravaganza.  No spoilers here, but if nothing else, it will be fun. Think of Donald Trump as the fifth Beatle.  Ooops.  Shouldn’t say anymore.

The picture I’ve published here kind of captured the mood the walk created for me. It all looked joyful to me.  Colorful lights and bicycles.  Visual cocktail.

Stay in positive territory.
