Each new snowstorm we have begs the question, is this the last one for the season? Some winters we get a total of an inch or two of snow but this year its leaps and bounds more than that. Tonight we will wind up with another 5-6 inches before its done. That makes around 20 inches in March. I photographed scenes around Lewes before sunset tonight on the way home from work.

Tony Pratt is the administrator of the Shoreline and Waterway Management Section of Delaware’s Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control. He is a scientist and naturalist, well versed in nature study.
